This is our survey! As we had it ready before Steven told us about the awesome webpage where you could create interviews, we have apploaded thiS!

I. Survey Information

This survey was mainly focused on looking for answers related to our current library system and service. In this opportunity, 21 people were asked to give their opinions about the topic previously mentioned. Our interviewers had to answer A for agree, SA for strongly agree, D for disagree, and SD for strongly disagree. They had to a use a checkmark ( ) or a cross ( ) according their preferences and answers.

10 questions were presented in the form of sentences. They were the following:

I use the library very often

I have found all the books I have looked for

Library is a good place to study

My career’s section in the library is very complete

I have found extra material from books to help me

Staff from the library is open to help

It is easy to access the books you need

I received my library card at the beginning of the career

I agree with having no access to the library service if I have not paid my monthly payment

I think the number of lockers is equivalent to the number of students

II. Data Analysis

According to our 11^th question which was mainly connected with receiving suggestions to make the library more efficient; the analysis is the following:

Ø 1 student answered, he/she would like that the library has more chairs and some sofas to study more comfortable.

Ø 3 people answered, they would like that our library has more lockers which represent to 14,2% of the answers.

Ø 13 students answered they consider our library too small and without the necessary amount of books. Besides they wrote, they would like that our library gives more time to give the copies back. This number represents a 61,9% of the answers.

Ø 4 people did not answer this question, which represent 19,04% of the answers.

Conclusions

According to the evidence gathered, it seems that most of the students in 5^th year in the career of English Pedagogy are not really happy with the services our library provides. We base this on questions related to the use they give to it, the material they should find there, but they do not; and finally in relation to the infrastructure, the amount of lockers and chairs. Although a big part of these students think the library is a good place to study, we can infer too, and that they like to work in silence due to the fact that the library has that characteristic.

Another thing we can interpret is that the section of our library is not well equipped. This is something we are also aware, due to there are only one or two copies that we can take. Most of the time we have not found books and that is why we understand the suggestion of one of the interviewees.
